Tony Ambrose has been with Kahn & Comings for 14 years and has 16 years experience in the seasonal business. Tony works on major account calls for Kahn & Comings such as Albertsons, Longs Drug Stores, Mervyns of California, and Raleys to name a few. His Office is centrally located in Sacramento, California, which enables him to cover both the Nevada and San Francisco Bay area accounts
Tony has over 14 years sales experience overseas and has specific expertise with direct import accounts. As a principal to Kahn & Comings, Tony is responsible for assigning accounts to salespeople within the organization. If a manufacturer wants to know how, who, when, & where, Tony will have the answer.

Roger Arden has been with Kahn & Comings over 20 years and has over 26 years of sales experience in the seasonal business. Roger has developed a very wide account base since he started in 1978. In addition to his Southern California accounts, i.e. Stater Bros., Safeway/Vons, and Smart & Final Iris, Roger has developed solid relationships outside California covering accounts in Hawaii and Mexico. Roger Arden has become one of the most sucessful seasonal representatives in the state of Hawaii, surpassing representatives that live in the state.

Mark Comings joined the organization in 1992. Mark is the son of co-founder Everett Comings, and like his father before him, Mark has a passion for the seasonal business, and Mark is also a principal with Kahn & Comings. Mark lived in Salt Lake City to work closely with American Stores and their import agent TSI in Chicago. With the recent merger of Albertsons and American Stores, Mark has relocated back to Southern California where he works with Tony Ambrose on this newly merged company now located in Phoenix, Arizona. Along with Albertsons, Mark has been responsible for the corporate sales calls on Safeway Stores Inc. Mark has worked both domestically and abroad with his major accounts and has overseas sales experience.

Doug Moyer came to Kahn & Comings in 1994. Doug's background is in the Chain Drug Industry. Doug came to us from Drug Emporium of Southern California as a Store Manager. Doug started in retail at Longs Drug Stores. At Longs, Doug worked on the SCW ad committee where he was selected as an Ad Coordinator for the Christmas Ad Program. Doug now focuses on accounts such as Costco, Fred Meyer/Kroger, Orchard Supply Hardware, and Sears Hardware. With his extensive retail and merchandising background, Doug has been able to provide the highest level of consistant service to all of his accounts.

Doug Peacock Doug comes from the Retail Drug Industry with over 20 years of experience with Longs and most recently with Drug Emporium. Doug was a Store Manager in California and was in charge of the Toy and Garden Categories for the Western Region. Doug is in charge of distributors such as the Berton Company, Certified/Unified Grocers, and A.M.I. Doug also calls on retailers such as Hot Topic, Party America, and Big A/Drug Emporium. Doug's experience in retail has given him the tools and knowledge to give his clients the highest level of service.

Brent is Kahn & Comings newest sales representative. Brent graduated from the University of Oregon's School of Business in 1990 earning a B.S. Marketing Degree. In 1991, Brent worked for Consolidated Freight as a Cargo Claims Examiner. We feel Brent's operational background in this area will be a huge asset. Since July 2000, Brent has been working in the Seasonal Representative Industry in the Pacific Northwest. Brent will work out of the Kahn & Comings Pacific Northwest office and report to Doug Moyer.

Jean Comings, besides being a key principal in Kahn & Comings, has been in charge of Data Processing for the last 13 years. She has incorporated her knowledge and expertise of computer programming into a functional, easy-to-use system that allows our sales staff to quote customers off a central database. We then input item information directly onto a customer's own forms or a Kahn & Comings formal quote. This database is compiled and includes every factory that we represent. This system is multi-factory friendly and was revolutionary in the industry.
The Kahn & Comings system, designed by Jean, has been purchased and used by other top firms around the country. Jean also works directly with M.I.S. Managers from our top retail chains to explore and create more efficient processing of the immense data that is needed to operate under today's current retail environment. Kahn & Comings computer capabilities have enabled us to already begin developing business with e-commerce companies. With the increase of e-commerce, these developments are key to maintaining our high standards of service.

Office Staff

Beate Thibeault is the office anchor and is the key person for order tracking, and she assists the Sales Representatives in preparing quotes and orders. Beate has been with Kahn & Coming for a total of 19 years. She joined Kahn & Comings in 1975 and worked for the Company for 15 years before she left to pursue other interests. Beate then rejoined Kahn & Comings in 1996 and was a key link in the Companies move to the L.A. Mart. In addition to Beate's Office Managerial skills, Beate serves the walk in customers at our showroon in the L.A. Mart! Beate also calls on several gift customers that Kahn & Comings has served for many years.
